We procure all our items from various places across India. From Wherever we buy we make sure the product is purchased directly from the craftsman to maintain the authenticity of the items. During procurement, our primary target has always been the quality of the product and the price it is worth of. We initially had a handful of craftsmen from the villages of Punjab who were talented in their own profession but as the need increased in the ever expanding market of India there was a need to find and nurture more talent across India. So we sent our procurement teams to various lesser know parts of India in search of talented craftsmen which we are very pleased we did, we were overwhelmed by the response and the number of people we found with quality products, Since then we have been investing a lot of time and money in the team which helps us procuring true quality stuff. Now we are more into promoting a whole community of craftsmen who specialize in their own field from different parts of the country (like juttis from Punjab, shawls from Kashmir.) We are happy that our strategy has been working. Our sales have been going up, and so has our buying from these village crafts communities. We have great sense of satisfaction because we have been able to contribute in small way to bringing cheers and happiness to a community that is culturally so rich, yet economically so poor and in the process saving the culture which was fading away.
